As well as a wide variety of jazz, Alex has been involved in diverse musical projects over the years ranging from the big band/experimental folk musicof Paul James’ Hittites through English and Celtic folk music to performancepoetry with writer Ben Okri. Alex is currently the jazz co-ordinator for theLMFL Summer School.

Dave has been an amateur guitarist for many years. His influences range from the great jazz guitarists such as Barney Kessel , Joe Pass, Pat Metheny etc. to other contemporary musicians & bands like The Yellow Jackets & Larry Carlton trio.

Dave has played with a variety of local jazz bands based aroundPortsmouth & Chichester.

Russell has played at some of the best (and worst)venues and studios in the UK and around the world with artists ranging from Skunk Anansie's Skin to the award winning composer Nitin Sawhney, Rob Brydon and....The Hoff. He plays electric and upright bass, has made numerous television appearances and played to one of the biggest ever British audiences at the Hyde Park Royal Wedding Celebrations. He has also founded a production collective whose work has appeared on various television networks in the UK, USA and Canada

When I asked Leo who inspired him, the list was endless and I managed to narrow it down to this - Charlie Parker, Max Roach. John Coltrane, Elvin Jones, Miles Davis, Tony Williams, Charlie Mingus, Danny Richmond, Eric Dolphy, Roy Haynes.

Leo has some great stories and anecdotes so if you ever encounter him at a gig, go speak to him and ask him about jazz. His authentic American accent also helps...
